The Guardian are reporting that the “right to know” case was lost by the parents. This is a good thing. I think that doctor-patient privilege shouldn’t extend to parents if the child has sought out medical advice on their own. If they are mature enough to seek medical advice, they are mature enough not to have their parent’s poking their nose through their business.
