eHow has a list of ways to help comfort the grieving (via Lifehacker).
Free access to the Oxford English Dictionary. I’ve got institutional access through the university, but if you haven’t, you can use this until the 13 February (my b-day!). If you are in Britain, and you are considering getting a subscription to the OED online, it’s sometimes cheaper to join a university library as an outside reader than it is to pay the OUP, plus you’ll get access to the library and other online resources. If you can’t get access to the free version, try Dave Proxy.
The new header graphic is of Dungeness. It’s a beautiful nuclear wasteland on the Kent coast. Art-cliche? Yeah, perhaps. But the pictures got some good memories attached.
Dembski’s speech (and the Q&A) are online. Better download this in case my trip to the dentist isn’t painful enough.
