Tom Morris

12 February 2006

A pungent mix of programming, philosophy, pedanticism, procrastination, perplexity, peripheral political polemic, and platters of preposterousness.

Nice lazy Sunday today. Bought some books for my academic work and enjoyment: Ricoeur’s “The Conflict of Interpretations” and Sartre’s “Nausea”. The former is for an essay on hermeneutics I’m hoping to write, which will cover Hans-Georg Gadamer and Paul Ricoeur among others. Anyway, birthday tommorow. I’m sad that Gussie (aka. Juan) passed away yesterday. Check Yeast Radio for more on that.

I’ve finally got around to getting the Frontier web-publishing aspects of OPML working. It involved stealing the StaticSites.root file from the demo version of Radio Userland and putting it in to Applications/OPML/Guest databases/apps/Tools. You can see the result here.
