Guess what I just found? The most crazy, cracked-out preacher ever. That is definitely going in my “Why America Is Fucked Up” collection.
Ed Brayton has a good response to D. James Kennedy’s awful-sounding new book. The funny thing is that the things Hitler said, if you remove the attribution to Hitler and shouted them out at - say - the Republican party’s annual convention or a Moral Majority revival, they wouldn’t sound out of place. History teaches lessons - a lesson that fundies fail time and time again.
Mary Warnock is taking the sensible view with regards to the predictable, annual brouhaha over A-level results. I didn’t get great A-level results (for a variety of reasons). But I’m currently on track to get either a very high upper second or first class degree.
